COLORADO is the ideal summer destination with unparalleled hiking, camping, horseback riding, craft-beer sipping, wellness getaways, lazy lake days, a rich cultural heritage and so much more.

The mountainous area of Colorado is six times the size of Switzerland and contains 9,600 miles of fishing streams, 2,850 lakes, and over 1,000 peaks that are at least two miles high. Of the land area of the United States with an altitude over 10,000 feet, 75% of that land area is within Colorado.

Colorado’s southwest corner boarders Arizona, New Mexico, and Utah–it’s the only place in America where the corners of four states meet.

The Colorado Trail, a 500-mile long hiking trail from Durango to Denver, crosses eight mountain ranges, seven national forests, six wilderness areas, and five river systems.

The world’s largest natural hot springs pool is located in Glenwood Springs. The two-block-long pool is across the street from the historic Hotel Colorado, a favorite stop of former president Teddy Roosevelt.
